Reminder: Helping Support the Food Bank of the Rockies!

I wanted to thank everyone for their interest in helping support the Food Bank of the Rockies on Friday. We will be meeting at Daniels College of Business (south side) at 8:00a on Friday, October, 31st.  The event itself runs from 8:30a – 11:30a.  The estimated return time to DCB is 12:00p.
Transportation:  We will be carpooling from DCB to the Food Bank.  I can take 3-4 people in my car.  Please let us know if you’re interested in driving over, would be willing to take a few people and how many people you can take.

Below is a description of the volunteer activity and where the food bank is located.
Activity:

1.       DISTRIBUTION (M-F and select Sat): FBR’s Distribution Center is the heart of our organization.  This is where our member agencies come to get much needed food for their non-profit programs.  Volunteer activities include helping fill agency food orders, loading agency vehicles with food and helping in the cleaning of the distribution area.
or

2.   RECLAMATION (M, W, F):  FBR’s Reclamation Center is where food and other essential items are inspected, cleaned, sorted and boxed before being sent to the Distribution Center for agency pick up.  Volunteers work in an assembly line sorting, sanitizing, inspecting and boxing food and other essential items.  This is a great place groups up to 15 who want to work in a team environment.

Please contact Eric Jones or Eric Dyke (eric.r.dyke@gmail.com) with questions.
